General Principal
The flame retardant mechanism of Flame Check & Charex is quite different
from that of halogenated FR compounds. Whereas halogenated FR compounds work
through a gas phase free radical mechanism, Flame Check & Charex work in
combination with the heat sink principle and the formation of
non-combustible gases in the situation of fire.
